Pierce County Housing Authority is updating our name and logo to Housing Pierce County!

After years of change that include a 20% increase to our Housing Choice Voucher program funding, $25 million in proceeds to date on our Section 18 Repositioning, and a move to a new headquarters, PCHA has determined that it’s time to make sure our organization’s name is reflective of our mission as a housing innovator and provider. For more information on this change, please read our August 18 Memo from our Executive Director regarding the switch.

2026 Annual Plan – Public Comment Period

In accordance with HUD requirements, Pierce County Housing Authority (PCHA) has prepared its 2026 Annual Plan. The Board of Commissioners reviewed the Annual Plan on July 30, 2025.

The Plan is now available for public review and comment for a period of 45 days, beginning July 30, 2025, and closing at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 13th, 2025.

PCHA encourages community members and residents to review the Annual Plan and provide feedback. All comments submitted during this period will be considered prior to final approval by the Board of Commissioners.
