Government Shutdown Information

The government shutdown starting October 1, 2025 has no immediate impact to PCHA operations. PCHA is prepared to continue operations as normal for three months with no impact to participants or stakeholders.

Pierce County Housing Authority is updating our name and logo to Housing Pierce County!

After years of change that include a 20% increase to our Housing Choice Voucher program funding, $25 million in proceeds to date on our Section 18 Repositioning, and a move to a new headquarters, PCHA has determined that it’s time to make sure our organization’s name is reflective of our mission as a housing innovator and provider. For more information on this change, please read our August 18 Memo from our Executive Director regarding the switch.

Notice of Meeting Update

The Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners, originally scheduled for Wednesday, November 26, 2025, has been cancelled.

This meeting has been rescheduled as a Special Meeting to occur on Wednesday, November 19th, 2025, at 3:30 PM.
