Pierce County Housing Authority is updating our name and logo to Housing Pierce County!

After years of change that include a 20% increase to our Housing Choice Voucher program funding, $25 million in proceeds to date on our Section 18 Repositioning, and a move to a new headquarters, PCHA has determined that it’s time to make sure our organization’s name is reflective of our mission as a housing innovator and provider. For more information on this change, please read our August 18 Memo from our Executive Director regarding the switch.

A quorum of the Housing Pierce County (HPC) Board of Commissioners will be present and participating in a Board Retreat on Monday, December 15, 2025, and Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at HPC’s Main Campus, 11515 Canyon Road East, Puyallup, WA 98373. The retreat will include strategic discussions and organizational planning related to the agency’s leadership transition and other Board matters. Portions of the retreat may include Executive Session as permitted under RCW 42.30. No final action will be taken during the retreat.
